Campaign Summary

LVS Oxford and Hassocks are specialist schools for children with Asperger’s, autism and learning difficulties. They wanted to use video to explain what they had to offer, and show how young people benefit from attending their schools.

Creative Strategy

Our approach was to lead with the stories of the children and young people who benefitted from being in a specialist school environment. Our interviewing style was sensitive and very much tuned to the needs of those young people, to allow them to relax and talk about their experiences confidently.

We created a number of ‘chapters’ which could be shown individually, or linked together as one holistic video. The video has subtitles to make it accessible to a wider audience, and also to allow it to be shown in a variety of different locations, including at exhibitions, conferences, websites and social media.

Results

The result was a powerful tribute to the hard work of both the school and its students. The focus on the young people’s progress and their optimism for their futures creates a film that is emotional and inspirational.
